GLAM SUIT AT ALCA 2022

Last November 19, our company, Creative Environments, has won 12 awards for our excellence in both design and installation.   These are projects produced and conceptualized by the Design Studio which I am currently heading. The event was held at Sheraton Grand Wild Horse Pass and all of the Senior Leadership attended this time.   It was a night of fun after experiencing a very high-strung schedule these past few months.   The kind of break that all of us in the office gladly welcomed.

I opted to wear a suit this year mainly because the originl roster of the people. I assigned to receive the awards were supposed to be all men since Senior leadership is all men;  and yes, I am the only female (senior leadership) in the very masculine world of design and construction.  It is very seldom that I step into presentation meetings with Builder’s CEOs/Presidents that I get to have another female presence in the room unless, I am meeting with the  heads of Marketing.   I know, it sounds unrealistic in this modern world but that is the truth. The Design/Build world is still very much brimming with testosterone.

However, in spite of opting for a suit set, I chose a neutral color  knowing fully well that I will be standing mostly in a sea of black suits.  I also opted for a metallic makeup and a slicked-back hair for additional glamour and of course, a Chanel 19-because everything looks good when you have a Chanel by your side.

WHAT I WORE:
Ecru Suit Ser-ZARA
Blush Corset-ZARA
Purse-Chanel 19
Shoes-Shein

A day at Europa Village

I’ve always had a love affair with vineyards and wineries.   i am usually in complete utter awe everytime I visit one. And whenever I am back home at Temecula, I try to include a trip to the Wine Country side.   Walking the vineyards never fails to teleport me to another place and time; maybe because I am trying to manifest a future investment😊. If other people wanted a mammoth-sized  house, I have always wanted a vineyard.   I have pictured that in my mind whenever I am asked where should  I retire.

Europa Village is a European themed vineyard in Temecula Wine Country.   True to its name, it showcases 3 major European regions for its 3 wineries. Bolero, which is also the Spanish restaurant where we had our brunch with the family; Vienza which exhibits the Italian wine region and the C’est la vie, which is of course, obviously French.

WHAT I WORE:
Blue Suit set: Shein
Bag: Christian Dior Book Tote
Eyewear:Marc Jacobs
Ankle boots: H&M

Trivia note: i stumbled on the stairs and almost fell because of the length of my pants. Don’t fret, I recovered pretty fast enough with a slight bruise on my ego😊

Hey Stranger!

Hey stranger!  That should be your comeback to me for being away for quite some time or should I say a really long time.  Your girl has been extremely busy developing my actual day-job and I am now the Chief Creative Officer of the company where I started as a Senior Designer.  So enough justifications about my absence.   I am back again to serving you looks at 42. My style has evolved a lot over the years and has become a mixture of power dressing and street with a hint of playfulness depending on my mood.  As most of you know, I don’t really conform to  rules and usually let my imagination do a wild run from time to time; the perks of being a creative.

Join me once again in this colorful fashion  diaries of mine as we navigate through my  being a clotheshorse adventure in this journey called life.

Don’t be a stranger!
