SPRING BEGINNINGS

It is spring time because the weather is not as cold as before today and this coming week.  This information actually made me happier in spite of the drizzle today.  I am so looking forward to spring.    I wore this ensemble to a photography workshop today.  The outerwear is actually a shirtdress and the pants is actually a jumpsuit with a long sleeves top over it.  I am happy to wear my mules once again for a change.  I have been wearing boots for quite long already.  Comfy and casual, these are my mantra during weekends.

WHAT I WORE:
outerwear from FRIENDSHIP MALL
maroon top from ZARA
jumpsuit used as pants from H&M
bag from LOEWE
mules from ZARA
scarf from the office; a women's day gift

MONDAY BLUES

Blues and print are just right for my Monday.  I have a full day ahead of me and it is just the first day of the week.  I opted to put a smart casual ensemble primarily because Monday is usually internal office meeting day; meaning, team leaders and resourcing managers usually meet to discuss team resourcing, projects and office management stuffs.  It isn't a formal meeting but still, I don't want to attend it wearing something so casual and "weekendish".

The top is actually my kiddo's top and yeah we do share clothes and shoes from time to time. The skirt is actually a summer dress that I have bought in US. I tried to break the monotony of the navy blue hues by adding a little black; a subtle deviation but nevertheless anchor the whole ensemble into a casual yet work wearable palette.

WHAT I WORE:
navy blue coat from an online store
printed blue top from H&M
dress used as skirt from URBAN OUTFITTERS
boots from ALDO

CHECKERED CASUAL

Sunday is a family day for me.  I try to stop whatever it is I am doing, be it work or play, and devout some uninterrupted time with my family.  We usually head out to attend our church service and then spend quality time with each other.  Usually, I dress into something more casual than my usual work clothes.  Relaxed and chilled are my mantra for weekends; unless of course I have an event to attend.

Weekends are also my jeans day; a piece of clothing that I am just getting used to.  I love this padded jacket so much because I can wear less clothes inside and still be warm.  It also has a lot of pockets which is very useful to me.  I used my summer tunic and just put a cozy turtleneck inside it.  I tend to feel cold easily so it has always been comfort and keeping myself warm during cold weather like this.

WHAT I WORE:
thermal checkered jacket from BURBERRY
beige summer tunic from PULL AND BEAR
turtleneck from FOREVER 21
skinny jeans from H&M
trapeze bag from CELINE
boots from BELLE
