SPRING NOIR

I know that black is not the usual hue associated with spring but when it is used smartly; as in OFF-SHOULDER top way, then it can still pass off as a wearable item during the fresh season. I actually wore this ensemble to work during a normal workday primarily because the toned down colour scheme is quite acceptable in spite of the bare shoulders.  I kept everything simple and in one colour
to keep the formality in a way.

WHAT I WORE:
off shoulder top from POP
black squared pants from ZARA
boots from H&M
purse from an online shop
watch from LOCMAN
eyewear from MINISO
dangling earrings from GINA TRICOT
chokers from my kiddo's stuffs

RED STRIPES AND WHITE BAND

My scoliosis had been giving me a hard time during the day that I wore these clothes to work.  However, I still insisted on wearing a pair of heels just because it goes with the pants perfectly.  I love how it looks so formal at the front and then suddenly becomes casual once you get to glimpse the white bands at the sides.  I paired it with a striped red top for some colour contrast and interest since most of the stuffs I was wearing here are in solid colours.

WHAT I WORE:
red top from SM LADIES WEAR
white blazer from ALANO (SINGAPORE)
black trousers from H&M
bag from LOEWE
necklace from H&M
earrings from my mom
watch from LOCMAN
eyewear from MIU MIU
shoes from MEI LIN

SUMMER RED

It is just spring out here but I am already looking forward to summer!  Summer is my favourite season because I love wearing summer dresses like the one featured here.  This red printed dress is perfect for those sweltering summer days.  Another thing that I love about summer is that I can get away with a lot of accessories mixed together.  Don't be afraid to mix and match; you can have a go on various sizes and colours too.  Here, I kept my dress and shoes colour coordinated and then I just threw in different colours for accessories.

WHAT I WORE:
red dress from COCO CABANA
wedge sandals from WEST LINK
purse from WWW
blue and orange bangles from WWW
red bangle from FOREVER 21
cyan bead necklace from WWW
seashell necklace from TOPSHOP
earrings from H&M

TRAVEL CHIC

Traveling for client presentation meetings and site visits are considered essential in my work scope.  Sometimes, we actually experience 3 cities in a week.  Situations like these call for travel clothes that will make the swift travel easier and more comfortable.  So for my latest travel,  I opted for a light jacket, culottes and a pair of flat boots.  The ensemble is comfortable enough but also presentable in case of sudden client meetings straight from the airport.  I added a red scarf for some chic factor and for some color pop.

WHAT I WORE:
beige outerwear from ZARA
culottes from H&M
booties from FOREVER 21 SHOES ONLINE SHOP
purse from WWW
innerwear from TRAFALUC BY ZARA
watch from LOCMAN
eyewear from MARC JACOBS
scarf from BENCH

SEEING RED

I love red.  Red and yellow are my favorite colors.  I just love the vibrance and energy that the hue gives off.  Add the frilly light feel of this dress and everything seems to be dynamic.  Somehow this ensemble makes me so hyper thereby causing these somehow different poses from the usual stuffs I post here in my blog.  Well, you can see that sometimes there is a crazy side of me too. (wink!)  I paired this red dress with a pair of gladiators this time for a more edgy and bohemian look.

WHAT I WORE:
red dress from H&M
gladiators from a Chinese online shop

STRIPES AND GRAY

My flight today is delayed so I might as well make my time useful by catching up with my blogposts.  Here is a backlog post about an ensemble I wore last week.  This black striped mid length dress is actually a beauty on its own.  The cut and pattern are really flattering and it gives off that sexy workwear vibe.  However, I thought of adding one more layer over it to make it more corporate and interesting.  The outerwear is actually another dress worn backwards.  Can you tell that it is flipped backwards by the looks of it?  I made it function as an outerwear thereby giving the patterned innerwear something more solid to anchor to.

WHAT I WORE:
striped dress from H&M
gray dress as outerwear from VICTORIA BECKHAM
medium flap bag from CHANEL
black ankle strap pumps from an online shop (sorry forgot the name)
eyewear from MIU MIU

BLACK AND BEIGE

Initially, I was supposed to go for an all neutral ensemble.  However, my husband said that I looked like I am going to attend a wedding or something and not the office.  The husband's opinion counts because he is my photographer.  So to make it more "office wearable", I added the black obi belt and changed my nude heels into a pair of black wedge shoes.

WHAT I WORE:
beige dress from online shop
Black wedge heels from CHARLES AND KEITH
necklace from office colleague ( birthday gift)
Phantom bag from CELINE
earrings from FOREVER 21
Watch from LOCMAN
